Paw Pantry Mission Inc. is a SEC-registered nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the responsible feeding and sterilization
(kapon/laygit) of stray animals. We advocate for the Community Cat Management Program, a Trap-Neuter-Return initiative, designed to effectively manage the stray animal population while enhancing their quality of life.
OUR STORY
The Paw Pantry Mission was founded in 2019 by a group of friends inspired by community drives during the pandemic lockdown. What began as a small initiative to help stray and community cats grew into a sustained movement of compassion and care.
Recognizing the need for long-term solutions, the group aimed to promote responsible and humane cat management. In 2021, PPM was officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock, non-profit organization. By 2022, it partnered with Cebu Business Park to launch the city’s first Trap-Neuter-Return model community.
Today, PPM continues to mainstream humane and sustainable programs that protect, manage, and improve the lives of Cebu’s community cats.
WHAT WE DO
The Paw Pantry Mission carries out programs that promote humane and sustainable care for community cats and other animals. Its initiatives include food drives, foster and adoption programs, TNR-based community cat management, and educational campaigns on responsible pet ownership. Each effort works toward building a kinder, more compassionate community for animals in Cebu.
The annual Community Pawntry Drive gathers food and supplies for stray and community cats across Cebu. This collective effort spreads compassion and support to feeders and rescuers every December.
The Community Cat Management Program promotes humane Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) practices to manage and care for Cebu’s community cats. It helps control the population, improve cat welfare, and encourage peaceful coexistence within communities.
The CCACC Monthly Food Drive provides regular food assistance to the resident cats and dogs of the Cebu City Animal Care and Control. This initiative ensures that the animals under their care remain well-fed and healthy.
The Foster Care and Adoption Program connects rescued cats with temporary foster homes and screens applicants for adoption. Each foster and adoption offers a cat a safe space to heal and a chance at a loving forever home.
Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) initiatives promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare. Through community outreach and educational activities, these efforts inspire compassion and support humane treatment of animals.
